From Ambition to a Trusted Name in Auto Care
In 2007, the Diaz-Granados family took a leap of faith to create an auto service center that put people first. With a background in industrial & systems engineering, Harmodio (“Mody”) Diaz-Granados III and his father Harmodio (“Harmon”) Diaz-Granados Jr., with a background in corporate & public accounting, decided to pursue their entrepreneurial dream. Along for the ride was Lidia Diaz-Granados (Mody’s mom & Harmon’s wife), who worked the phones and front counter completing the team. After purchasing a franchise, they quickly realized it didn’t align with their vision of quality work & transparent service. Determined to do better, they bought out the franchise and rebranded as an independent business focused on integrity, quality, transparency and community.
Through hard work and a clear mission, Premium Automotive has grown into multiple locations across McAllen, Edinburg, and Harlingen. From a small shop to a trusted name, the family remains dedicated to delivering transparent, reliable, professional & customer-first auto care.

While we don’t quote most prices over the phone, we provide a complimentary initial analysis for whatever your concern(s) are with your vehicle. With your vehicle at our shop, our certified technician is able to do our complimentary initial analysis, which is a free evaluation for your concern. Then, we will let you know what the next step is for your concern. We have learned by having our certified technician perform this analysis it is the best way to serve you by providing accurate and correct information so that you are informed with everything you need to know about your concern with your vehicle.
We’ll present all the information you need, while guiding and educating you, while giving you the ‘why’ behind the services we recommend for your vehicle. We’ll give you your repair options and let you decide how to proceed. No work is done without your authorization.
We’re transparent and thorough in our repair process. We utilize digital vehicle inspections and take pictures and videos of everything we do, including before and after photos of the work we do on your vehicle.
We have the ability to send constant updates straight to your phone and or your email, including the digital vehicle inspections, and you are able to accept or decline any of our recommendations with one click! This also allows you to see photos and videos of our technician’s findings on your vehicle, so that you can see all the good and bad things that could be going on with your vehicle.
We make your visit convenient with free shuttle services, Lyft or Uber credits, and free loaner cars, plus an easy text-to-pay system. After your service, we follow up to ensure satisfaction and welcome your feedback.
